I'm Katrina a photographer based in Christchurch, New Zealand. My goal is to support and empower girls using photography. I do this by providing a safe space and taking the time to get to know the girls before I photograph them. I like to hear what they are passionate about, what they love to do and base a photography session around that so that their unique personality shines through and they can see their special light 🙂
Prior to becoming a photographer I was a Nurse who specialised in women's health, I also did a diploma in counselling as in my nursing role I could see many women struggling with various issues and I wanted to be able to support them more.
